# Strata (Decision Memory & Provenance)

Trace line-level note provenance, review workspace changes, and discover logical contradictions or tensions.

## Using Strata Memory

1. Navigate to the **Strata** page from the side navigation.
2. Select any decision or key note inside your vault.
3. Review the line-by-line provenance report, identifying who wrote each line, when, and from what capture source.

## Discovering Logical Tensions

- Strata automatically scans connections in your knowledge graph.
- If notes contain conflicting decisions (e.g. one note sets a launch date for Friday and another for next Monday), Strata flags this as a "potential tension."
- Review the contradiction and resolve it in place.
