# Mobile App & Local Reminders

Access your vault on mobile devices, use share targets, and configure native OS reminders.

## Mobile Share Extension

When using Basalt's native Capacitor applications (iOS & Android):
- Use your device's native Share Sheet inside other mobile apps.
- Select **Basalt Notes** to send text snippets, links, or articles directly into your inbox capture queue without opening the app.

## Scheduling Task Reminders

- Go to **Tasks** or **Calendar**.
- Set a reminder time on any checklist task.
- Basalt requests native OS **Local Notifications** permissions to deliver alerts directly to your device even when the app is closed.
