# Forge (Automation & Workflows)

Write prompt pipelines, run bulk text transformations, and automate refactoring workflows.

## Creating a Forge Workflow

1. Go to the **Forge** page from the side navigation.
2. Click **Create Custom Workflow**.
3. Chain transformation steps together (e.g. "Step 1: Translate note to Spanish, Step 2: Append copyright frontmatter, Step 3: Extract checklist tasks").

## Running Bulk Refactoring

- Select a target folder or set of tags.
- Click **Run Preview** to analyze how the workflow will modify your notes.
- Review the diff panel showing changes.
- Click **Approve & Execute** to apply the changes to your vault files.
